It is unanimous by Shia and Sunni People that Imam Mahdi (AS) shall

at the last age to their followers.

but with righteousness shall he judge
the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; … And the

the glad tidings of past scriptures and the beliefs of past nations
concerning the Savior.
Belief in a savior originates from the divine nature of man; it is this
belief that gives hope to the hearts. However; this belief has been
recorded in the ancient civilizations’ books. Furthermore, even though
there have been differences in the belief in the existence of a savior,
this belief has existed amongst most nations, being related to many
faiths directly. Due to the divine law of Allah of sending prophets to
promise the arrival of a savior, the belief in a savior has been
mentioned in other holy books. Though the narrations regarding the

[If saying the prayers is this way, so undoubtedly] The “preservation of Islam” is more necessary than prayers. Do not follow the logic of the governor of Khumain who said: “Sins and crimes should be prevailed so Imam Mahdi (PBUH) coms!”

Omission of luxuries and luxurism
A person came to Muawiyah and a tablecloth was spread before him that foods with any color were on it and he didn’t recognize one of them. He asked Muawiyah what was that food and he answered: “The stomach of duck filled with sheep’s brain, fried in pistachio oil and sprinkled with sugar.”
That person came to tears and said: “I recalled that I was with Ali (PBUH) at the time of Iftar (the time for breaking fast) and a sealed bag was brought for him. I asked: “What is in it and why is it sealed?” He said: “It is barley flour. I’m afraid Hassan or Hussain mix it with oil.”” *1
It is said in Seerah (the life history, behavior and habits) of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) in narrations that:

We need to keep hope for divine relief, await the reappearance of al-Qa'im (PBUH) at any moment, and truly believe that Imam al-Mahdi (PBUH) is the only solution for our tragedies in the world. According to the traditions, this is the most virtuous struggle (Jihad) of the believers. A person faithfully living in expectation of Imam al-Mahdi (PBUH) works constantly at improving his spiritual state by acting upon the instructions of Ahl al-Bait (PBUT), working hard in obedience, and observing piety. In this manner, he persistently and increasingly makes himself more eligible to receive al-Qa'im (PBUH). The following Mutawatir Hadith is narrated with all these three wordings:

For, I have witnessed a plenty the words and deeds of numerous people in opposition to what Allah and His messenger wish so For instance, if he loses someone, a horse, a dirham or dinar, his thought will at once focus on them and he will earnestly strive to find them. But I have not found anyone so engrossed over the matter of delay in Imam’s advent as they are over such petty issues. Besides, they are not disturbed by Imam’s absence as they are by losing such petty things. So,

Awaiting means expecting an event that will definitely happen. This is the meaning of awaiting. Awaiting means that this future is definite. This is especially true if we are awaiting a living and primed entity.
We are not awaiting someone who has not been born yet. No, we are awaiting someone who exists and is present among us. There are certain narrations according to which people can see him, but they do not recognize him. In certain narrations, he has been likened to Prophet Joseph whose brothers used to see him. The divine scholar and jurist Ayatullah Mirza Mahdi Esfahani (1365 A.H.) a great lover of Imam-e-Zaman (a.t.f.s.) in his letter to his student, Ayatullah Shaikh Muhammad Baqir Maleki Miyanji (1419 A.H.) pinpoints that the first duty of scholars is to open the door of the house of Ahl al-bayt (a.s.) before the Shias. He recommends them to talk about the Imamat and perfection of Imamof the age (a.t.f.s.)so that the people remain immune from the evil.
In one part of this letter, he writes
O BROTHER, I ADVISE YOU; AND ONCE AGAIN I ADVISE YOU
TO INVITE THE ‘PEOPLE TOWARDS THE IMAM (A.S.) OF THE TIME, THEIR REFUGE AND SHELTER
